Hey Gang – This week has been really busy and intense, so I’m just going to go curl up and watch something junky on TV. Mike D is making popcorn, and we just got this stuff in the shop which makes popcorn taste like some sort of spicy kettle corn, if you’re into that. (I’m definitely into that).
I really appreciated all of our editors’ words – some tender, some silly – in this week’s weekly sales report. I had a conversation with Pax about the Cornell event…and I realized, while we were talking, that one of the messages I really wanted him to understand is that his role – as a guy, with guy friends in guy text threads – is to be a guy that’s willing to make other guys uncomfortable. I’ll bet some guys in that group chat didn’t actually believe it was happening. I’ll bet some were not OK with it. But it’s wild that, as far as anyone knows…none spoke up.
Guys are so used to…verifying something before they’d report it. Or rolling their eyes at other guys’ bad behavior. But what all these guys are missing is the fact that messages like that aren’t OK – real or not. Honestly, even if it was a joke (I don’t think it was but go with me), even if it was a joke, it’s not fucking OK to send a message like that. And I wonder what would’ve happened if some guy (or guys!) in that chat had said so.
Anyway, that was my message to Pax. It’s hard to make your friends uncomfortable. Especially if you’re in a situation where you’re not sure what’s actually going on. But speak up anyway. As a guy, in 2026…this is your job.

OKAY, CUTEST UGG WINTER BOOTS: These!! They look like a cross between UGG, Mou boots, and…IDK – something with fancy, contrast laces?? Anyway, they look really cool.
Asymmetrical earrings I love: this pair. Been wearing ’em constantly. (ps. they’re new to the shop! We’re rolling out holiday products quiet-like right now…)
The most perfect jeans I’ve tried in a while: AYR’s The Culture (in ‘beep beep’). Rigid denim (thick and high-quality), but so bizarrely soft I would legit wear them on an overnight flight. I did not know denim could be like this. They also have the coolest freaking shape – they’re what I’ve always wanted loose jeans to look like.
The coolest fleece jacket I’ve seen: In ‘Nirvana’. I think it’s the color, honestly, it’s dead chic.
What I’m buying at the Athleta sale: Everything is 30% off, so I’m getting my fav sweats (in navy, with that cool side stripe) and the matching v-neck varsity sweatshirt!! It’s SO good, right??
I also need workout tops that are shorter but not insanely cropped. Athleta has three I’m interested in: the Dream Drape Tee that I’m pretty sure I can lift weights in, the Intuition Tee with a simple but cute shape, and the Eternity Rib Tank with cool, layered detail.
Dressy outfit inspo: This outfit is such a cool mix of stunning but casual – well played, Evereve. (I sometimes just really love their styling.)
But this is literally my dream holiday outfit: jeans, obvi. (And I’d add this bag.)
The best menswear-style flannel pajamas? GAP’s unisex ‘softest flannel’ PJ shirt and matching pants. There’s something so freaking cool about the cut, and the flannel itself is great. My boys, Mike and myself all love them. Last year, the good colors sold out by Nov, so I just bought the sets needed for our Christmas Eve family tradition. I think they run a little bit small – despite the unisex sizing, I still took a medium in the shirt, and medium-petite in the pants (I put all 3 of my guys in size large everything).
If anyone else is as obsessed with Loewe tomato leaves hand soap as I am….it’s 15% off at Saks. (Oregano, too.)
A chic and elegant holiday top: this Reiss stopped me in my tracks. Ooo – on sale, too!
Underwear. Sigh. After spending years trying to find underwear I actually like…I’m going back to Hanky Panky low rise thongs. They’re still the ones that I have the least amount of annoyances with. Zero? No. But what I want doesn’t exist. And there’s a sitewide sale, if interested.
Ohhhh…so now I look rested: YSE’s Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream is definitely worth a purchase. They had sent me a tube to try months ago (boring detail, mentioning only for transparency), and since I just used up the last bit of my existing cream, I busted it open. It is shockingly good. Like, I’m holding myself back from the adjectives (and/or expletives, haha) but it somehow takes the place of under eye cream and concealer, but there’s no settling into fine lines. I have the soft pink, and this stuff just disappears into my skin, and BOOM – I look more awake. We get sent a ton of beauty products to try, but this one is now firmly part of my routine.
Speaking of products to try… I’m a big (HUGE) fan of daytime smokey eyes. But mostly because my eyelids are starting to droop with age and eyeshadow helps me look more, idk, alive? Ya know? Anyway, I don’t always want a whole big C’MERE BIG BOY smokey eye, I just want something really natural, but most “natural” shadows either skew too warm or too pink. Anyway, OGEE just launched a new line of eyeshadows called “Lid Sculpt” and the Nickel color is *exactly* what I’ve been looking for. You can barely tell I’m wearing anything at all, it’s just…pretty and lifted.

Only two left: these gorgeous vintage earrings. Small, but mighty – I can’t stop thinking about them.
